HYBRID Shows
HYBRID works in seasons. Each season has five Vanguard shows, on alternating Wednesdays, and a pay-per-view that is on the sixth Wednesday. Between seasons there is an extra week typically used to set up details for the following season including show locations, storylines, and more. Battle Damage, a HYBRID news/highlight show, happens the Monday after a pay-per-view. Vanguard matches are summarized, while pay-per-view matches are full-length with commentary. Vanguard shows will have five matches each, while pay-per-views will have no more than seven. Handlers who aren’t booked can submit matches for any show provided they write them and turn them in on time. Segments can be submitted for any show except for Battle Damage.
Cards
Cards for Vanguards/PPVs will be posted as early as Wednesday night after the previous show or as late as the following Thursday. Vanguards for a new season are booked one week after the recent pay-per-view. Questions about the card should be directed toward staff, preferably in private.
Match/Segment Submissions
Deadlines for matches and segments are listed on the card postings, with the standard deadline day being midnight on the Sunday before the show. Handlers can sign up for segment slots on the Sign-Up Sheet posted after each card. If a segment is desired in a certain part of the show but both slots are taken, a new slot can be opened up by the staff. If you sign up but cannot submit your material on time, let the staff know as soon as possible. All submitted material should be edited properly before it is sent in, otherwise staff reserves the right to deny it until it is coded properly.
