Every so often, Honey checks behind her to make certain Summer is still following along with her before the two part for the competitor to enter the ring. Once inside, Honey brings her hands up in self celebration only long enough until she sees Summer applauding her. At which point, Honey dusts her cheeks and looks around the arena as her music fades and lights come back up. ]

History

Having never known her parents, Honey was abandoned as an infant outside of an orphanage where she would grow up. It was a tough upbringing of teasing from other children that resulted in Honey affirming an affection for a discarded bear, whom she named Periwinkle. During this period, an obvious just as affectionate approach toward honey provided her name.
:::The Periwinkle Incident:::
Given the higher than average population of children at the orphanage, it was difficult for someone like Honey to stand out. Though at the age of five she was given a tremendous amount of consideration by adoptive parents. However, on the day she was to leave to her new home another child accused Honey of thievery claiming the bear as her own. Whether it was due to this being her one chance or a growing fear of losing her bear, Honey lashed out after a verbal confrontation where she wasn't immediately viewed as the innocent party. The altercation caused the would be parents to reconsider and given the scuffle was over the bear, Periwinkle was taken from her as punishment for her actions. At this point, Honey truly developed an isolationists viewpoint and would spend the remainder of her childhood and even teenage years at the orphanage having never shaken the stigma of being a “violent individual”.

Honey was trained by ring veteran, Jennifer Stratfeld who went by the ringname “Kitty”. Jennifer attemoted to instill in her student a respectful view of ring work and to grow an appreciation of the fanbase. Unfortunately, aside from a few of in ring techniques there was only one other aspect Honey took from these lessons. As a joke, Jennifer would later clarify in interviews, she suggested that since her sister, Emily Stratfield, has a student that Honey should consider said student to be her rival. Honey took this to heart and has always viewed Summer Madison in such a way.
:::Signing with Steele Media and the Good Girls:::
Following the rousing success of women in wrestling based reality series Bad Girls and Evil Girls, Steele Media wanted to branch out with two new series Good Girls and Porno Girls. Obviously only one of which continued on in the form of Good Girls staring Honey Rydel and Samantha Hayes. Honey had actually auditioned for Evil Girls but when compared to the rest of the cast...a woman with a single violent action in her history didn't pair well with a violent sociopath, narcissistic brain altering dominatrix, former assassin for hire and, well, Betsy Miller. However, company CEO, Victoria Steele, did find something she liked in Honey and kept her in mind when creating her new series. She initially wanted both Honey & Samantha for her Porno Girls series, based on their equally curvy figures and blond hair, but after watching them interact for the first time she knew they had the makings of a truly memorable reality series. Thus, the Good Girls were signed following a joint venture deal with 3WL.
During this tenure, it was evident that any slip up on the part of Samantha was something Honey would never let her live down. For instance, it's still a mark of pride from Honey to constantly claim how she was eliminated far later into a battle royal than Samantha was. Although Samantha would reap far more in the sense of crowd popularity, Honey was content in her firm belief of being superior. The biggest evidence of this was when Honey showcased the first, and last ever, Miss. 3WL competition competing against only one other. Honey won and has since decreed people refer to her as “Princess” as a result.
:::Steele Media bankruptcy and Dungeon buyout:::
All good things had to come to an end and the first casualty of Steele Media's pending bankruptcy was the Good Girls series. Dealings with 3WL were becoming strained and as such it became the clear ideal to cancel the Good Girls show. However, since both Honey and Samantha were still under contract, rather than pay them their remaining owed funds Steele Media simply shipped them off to Bad Girls to serve within the manor's “maid force”. One can only imagine how it felt for Honey to serve tea for her rival only to find the one teaching her proper tea service was her rival herself.
Honey and Samantha remained as such for a couple years until most contracts within Steele Media were purchased by Katalina Star. Honey attempted to claim this as little more than human trafficking but her complaints never went further than just that. In that time she's served as a member of the Dungeon's Maid Division taking orders from Summer Madison. Her first few years were described as “unbearable, a true hardship, not worth my time” by those she was sent to serve. Thankfully, over the years her attitude has changed to be a bit more pleasant. She still resides within the Dungeon hoping to take over the division constantly being driven by the idea that one day someone will classify her as a far better maid than Summer.
:::Foxy Boxing and Chastity rumours:::
During the second instalment of Foxy Boxing, Honey was tasked with providing colour commentary alongside Mouse and Chastity. During these calls, Chastity would often try to make out with Honey claiming that the two were dating. During these same episodes, Honey would decline any rumour of the two viewing one another in any sort of romantic situation. At one point she even declared herself as being asexual. However, rumours swiftly began circulating that the two were engaged in several private rendezvous moments.]
