Ring Entrance
Mastadon’s “Curl of the Burl”” fills the arena, pouring from the PA speakers as the lights fade out. The audience is shrouded in darkness as candles illuminate suddenly along the walkway. The candles continue lighting up, spreading from the sides of the ramp to along the front of the stage before a blue spotlight comes on across the smoke filled stage. Standing among the mist, the audience and viewers get a glimpse of Jamie Emmerson with her back to the camera, her black stick resting over her shoulder and her mini coffin tucked under her other arm.
Killed a man 'cause he killed my goat
I put my hands around his throat
He tried to reason with the sky and the clouds
But it didn't matter, 'cause they can't hear a sound
As the lyrics begin, she spins around towards the camera with a stoic expression on her youthful features. She holds that expression as she looks across the sea of lighters before the tiniest of smirks plays on her lips. She begins her approach to the ring, confidently - almost arrogantly - strutting along down to ringside.
It's just the curl of the burl
It's just the curl of the burl
That's just the way of the world
It's just the curl of the burl
As she reaches ringside, she calmly slides the little casket box into the ring and continues her little stroll over to the apron. She sets the tiny coffin on the apron along with her weapon and hops up onto the apron, laying across it “California Girls” style, with a devilish smirk on her face. She then slides under the bottom rope and picks up her belongings, rising to her feet. Jamie stops about halfway between her assigned corner and the center of the ring.
If she enters after her opponent:
Kneeling down, Jamie locks eyes with her opponent as she reaches down and slides the casket across the mat, towards the center. She continues this until she’s laid out flat on her stomach, arms fully extended in front of her. An offering to her opponent. She then pushes up and back with her hands, sliding back to sitting on her feet. She rocks back more, plopping down on her butt right in her corner, knees bent, forearms resting over her knees. She never, once, takes her eyes off of the other competitor; Jamie motions with her hand towards the box as if presenting it as a gift to her opponent.
If she enters first:
She places the casket down at her feet in her corner, kneeling down then before she rocks back onto her butt and relaxes in her corner with her knees bent, forearms resting over her knees as she waits for her opponent.
Note: Upon entering first, Jamie will wait until her opponent is entered and settled before she slides the coffin box over to them.

Gimmick
A young, practicing witch that fully believes in the occult. She regularly performs rituals leading up to matches, seeking favor from a higher power to grant favor to her in the task set before her. With every match, she carries a tiny black casket in her hands. She offers this to her opponent before the bell to be opened as a gift. By some work of dark magic or other unknown trickery, the coffin contains a photograph of her opponent garbed in black funeral attire, laid out with their hands crossed over their chest, eyes closed. It literally looks like a photo of them, dead inside a casket.
History
Jamie was born and raised in Buffalo, New York to David and Tessa Emmerson. Her father is an officer in a 1% MC known as The Gravediggers and her mother tends bar at an adult night club known as The Ninth Circle. Jamie and her younger brother Derek were always on the receiving end of ridicule as children in school due to their parents occupations. They found solace together in their love of music and professional wrestling. At the age of 15, Jamie began training to enter the business herself. When Jamie was 17, her mother revealed to her and her brother a life she had before she met their father. As it turned out, they were the younger half siblings of professional wrestler, Morgan Payne, whom their mother had an estranged relationship with. Over time, Tessa and Morgan rekindled their own familial bond and Jamie got to know her older sister. It was through this relationship that she met her girlfriend and soon to be wife, Lana Corvin, daughter of pro-wrestling legend, Ashe Corvin. When the two made their professional debuts into wrestling, they did so back to back within the same company before beginning their romantic relationship and forming the tag team, Daughters of Darkness, based on their personal faith and religion. Jamie has struggled across multiple companies at this point in her career but she is still young, hungry and striving to succeed as an attached member of not only the Payne family, but the Corvin Dynasty as well.

Wrestling Style
Jamie's not very big, nor is she very strong but she gets the job done. What she lacks in size and power, she makes up for in agility and reach. Most of her height comes from her legs which she's been trained to use to her advantage with maneuvers such as Yakuza kicks, Big Boots, Superkicks, thrust kicks. All the kicks to keep bigger, stronger opponents at bay. She uses the environment to her advantage, utilizing a hybrid style of technical wrestling and lucha libre while also not shying away from just going in with a more strong style approach with knees and elbows. She likes to control the pace of the match, wearing her opponent down rather than trying to rush through for a win where she would otherwise make a mistake. She likes to strike, grapple and is happy to take it down to the mat where she'll use her leggy advantage to lock in a hold if she catches her opponent(s) slipping. Over time, since dating/being engaged to Lana Corvin, she's taken to training some under her future father-in-law, Ashe Corvin where the best way to describe her learnings there as being "smash mouth bully." When her usual strategy fails, she will absolutely go all in with a brutal, relentless approach, looking to hurt the opponent and break them down.

Writer Notes
Jamie prides herself as a wrestler on learning from her mistakes and wrestling as smart and tactful as she can. Whenever possible in a match, she'll try to conserve energy in any way, shape or form. This means if she's being pinned close enough to the ropes, she might opt to put her foot on the ropes rather than trying to force the opponent's weight off of herself to get a shoulder up. She usually smiles in the face of trash talk - a condescending smile that she hopes will piss her opponents off into making a mistake. She's grown up as the bullied kid in school so a most jawjacking isn't going to phase her unless it hits a really personal level. She has no problem pushing the count for a break to 4, which she'll do more often than not. Other than that, she's eerily cordial and obliging with the rulings of the official. She won't waste time arguing with the referee until later on in the match when she feels ready to put the opponent away and they keep coming.
